Green Label Testing

We always ask ourselves what is Green Product and Eco-friendly product. Firstly, it must have less of an impact on the environment or are less detrimental to human health than traditional equivalents. This can benefit our current and future generations.

Secondly, it must be energy efficient, durable and often have low maintenance requirements. As we all know recycling plays an important role in our climate, it also contributes to the Green Products and Eco-friendly products as the products are often made from recycled materials (partially or fully) and/or from renewable and sustainable sources. Depending on the nature of the product, it is biodegradable and easily reused either in part or as a whole.

To sum it up, we will all stand to benefit from greener products and services on the market.

STATS in Green Product Testing

STATS use highly advanced instrumentation like VOC emission chambers built in accordance to ISO 16000 to verify the VOC emission levels in building products. The emissions will then be analysed by Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrophotometer / Automated thermal desorption unit (GCMS-ATD). Other instrumentations include ICP-MS, ICP-OES, UV-VIS, GCMS with Flame Ionisation Detector/ Nitrogen Phosphorus Detector. Our Chemists are well-trained and has over 10 years experience staff to test a wide variety of products according to green product requirement standards. With an experienced team in green products analysis, STATS Asia Pacific Pte Ltd will be able provide you a comprehensive guidance for your product assessment as well the testing services according to the required standard and regulation.
